39 weeks pregnant with contractions every 5 minutes now they have stopped?

hi this happened with my second at 39 weeks i had an appointment with my midwife that day so tryed to carry on as normal as possible as my 2 year old son was with me when she checked me she said i was indeed in labour and to go home relax ,hot bath etc anyway after 2 hours they just stopped me or midwife couldnt understand it anyway 5 days later on my due date i woke up went to the loo my waters broke my son was born 17 minites later maybe your in for a easy time like me lol
