Is there a way to get scars removed?

I was recently (2 weeks ago) bit by a dog and needed stitches. Because of the way it bit me, there is a scar inside of my lip. His toothed tore up the inside of my and now it feels like there is a pebble in my lip. Is there a way to get that taken out or somtin??
