Help with the word "portent"?

I'm doing an ignment on the word "portent." It requires 2 sentences containing the word, 3 antonyms, and 3 synonyms. I had no trouble at all finding 3 synonyms, but I could only find one antonym: doom. I don't use this word very often, so I also need help with the sentences. Thanks so much (:
