Is lower abdominal burning a sign that I'm ovulating?

I only had a one day period this month on the 14th of April. My periods aren't regular, and I've been off the pill (noraday) for 2 months now as my husband and I are TTC. I've already done two pregnancy tests and they were both negative, so I'm not preggers(they were a week apart) But today I've had this burning sensation in my lower abdomin, where I would normally feel period cramps. It's painfull but bearable, and according to all the sites that I've checked, I'm not experiencing any ovulating signs. I don't normally monitor my fertile days, seeing as my husband and I have agreed to just let it happen when it does, but if I work out my days since my one day period, I should be ovulating today? My husband and I did have a rather busy 'baby making' weekend, but even if I did ovulate early, It would be to soon to 'feel' any early signs of conception. I've never felt this burning sensation before and it's not a bladder infection either. Everything in that 'department' is normal. Does anyone else get this burning sensation when ovulating?
